Customer Services Team Receives National Recognition
The North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield Borough Council Customer Services Team was nominated as a finalist in the eGovernment National Awards 2006. The Awards highlight the UK's best services which improve citizen and business transaction with councils, central government departments and other public sector organisations.
NEDDC Council Leader, Graham Baxter said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been short-listed for such a prestigious award. Our two Councils have worked very hard to make our Customer Contact Centre a success and we look forward to even more equally successful joint-working in future."
"Being short-listed for this award is another feather in the cap for North East Derbyshire which has undergone a tremendous programme of change. The past year has been about making our Council a more effective and efficient organisation and ensuring our residents receive the best possible services from us. We are very proud to have achieved national recognition for important areas of our work."
About Our Nomination
