Ridgeway Craft Centre
Ridgeway Craft Centre (pictured) opened in 1987. Over the years it has established itself as an attraction both for tourists and local visitors, producing a wide variety of quality goods as well as the perfect place to browse for a gift or watch the crafts people demonstrating their arts. The Centre is housed in a converted 17th century farm building comprising craft workshops, and a country kitchen.
Ridgeway Craft Centre is located six miles north-west of the M1 motorway Junction 30, along the A6135 through Eckington to the B6054. Entrance to the Centre is free and ample car parking space is available. Ground floor units are accessible for wheel chairs, and the centre has parking and toilet facilities for disabled people.
Traditional and modern crafts are brought to life in the workshops and studios of the Ridgeway Craft Centre.
Visitors have a chance to watch skilled crafts people at work creating a wide range of high quality goods. Shop for a gift, wander around the workshops or sample the delicious fare at the centre’s country kitchen – the choice is yours.
Set in a lovingly restored and converted farmhouse at the rural heart of the Moss Valley, the Ridgeway Craft Centre keeps alive traditional skills and also provides a place in which modern crafts can thrive.
