Housing & Council Tax Benefit Advice 

General information on Housing and Coucil Tax including information on Second Adult Rebate and how to make a claim.

Backdated Benefits 

If there was a good cause for the delay in making your claim benefit can be backdated. This document explains the process in further detail.

Benefit Appeals and Reconsiderations 

If you have received a decision about Housing or Council Tax Benefit, you may want to know what you can do if you think it is wrong.

Discretionary Housing Payments 

We can make Discretionary Housing Payments if we decide someone needs extra help with housing costs. The payments are on top of any Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit that has been awarded.
