Moving In or Out

 
Please let us know if you move so that we can adjust your bill. You can submit your details to us using the Online Occupation Form and Online Vacation Form.
 

Moving Out?

If you are moving out of a property in North East Derbyshire Council's area we will need the following information:

 
  • your name & business name 
  • your old address 
  • the date you moved out  
  • your new address
 

If you owned the property we will also need to know: 

 
  • the completion date of the sale 
  • the name of the person buying the property  
  • their business address or solicitors name and address (if you know it) 
  • your solicitors name and address
 

If you are renting we will need to know: 

 
  • the end date of your tenancy 
  • your landlord's name and address
 

Moving In?

 

If you are moving into a property in our area, we need these details:

 
  • your name & business name 
  • your new address 
  • the date you moved in  
  • your correspondence address
 

If you have bought the property we will also need to know: 

 
  • the date you completed your purchase 
  • the name of the person you bought the property from 
  • their new address or solicitors name and address (if you know it) 
  • your solicitors name and address
 

If you are renting we will need to know: 

  • the start date of your tenancy 
  • your landlord's name and address
 
Once we have amended your account, we will send a bill to your new address to let you know how much to pay. If your account is in credit we will contact you to organise a refund.
 
Please contact the Customer Services team (details below) to let them know that you have moved, if you prefer not to submit your details online.
