Services Disrupted by Severe Weather
From time to time our services can be disrupted by bad weather.
At present, the weather is not affecting our services too much, it's mostly business as usual.
However, please take care on the icy roads and pavements, especially when putting out or taking in your bin and around our leisure centre car parks.
Get up to date information about disruption to bin collections here.
We'll update this page to show information about any changes to rubbish and recycling collections and details of how the weather is affecting the opening of our offices and leisure centres.
Why not bookmark this page, or maybe follow us on Twitter to keep up to date.
School Closures:
Derbyshire County Council has a dedicated web page with up to date information about closures of schools across the county. Take a look at their School Closures page for more details, or why not sign up to get alerts about school closures in your area?
You can also keep up to speed with which schools are open and closed during particularly bad weather by tuning in to Peak FM on 107.4 and 102 FM or check the PeakFM website or the PeakFM Breakfast page on Facebook for regular updates. You can get updates for the south of our district from Radio Derby. Please do not call the radio stations as all information will be given on air.
