Paying at an Area Cash Office
You can make your payment in person at one of the area cash offices. Please choose an option to see opening times and the offices address:
You can pay by cash, cheque, postal order and debit or credit card. Your payment will appear on your account on the next working day after you paid.
Cash
Payments may be made over the counter in cash. Please avoid paying with large amounts of small change.
Please note: all notes are checked in order to detect suspected forgeries. Any note that is thought to be forged will be retained by the cashier and passed to the Police. In no circumstances will it be returned to the customer, and no credit will be made in respect of that note. Derbyshire Constabulary defines this policy.
Cheques
Please make cheques payable to N.E.D.D.C. and write ‘a/c payee only’ across the middle if it is not already printed on the cheque.
Please note: we do not accept post dated cheques.
Postal Orders
Please make payable to N.E.D.D.C. and remember to write your account reference number on the back of your postal order (in case you misplace it).
Please note: the post office make a charge for issuing the postal order.
Credit/Debit Card
We accept all major cards except American Express and Diners Club.
If you would like a receipt
The back of your bill is a payment card – if you bring this with you it will be receipted as proof of payment.
