Cable.co.uk are one of only two Ofcom accredited broadband/digital TV/phone comparison sites in the UK. They give businesses and individuals up to date information on broadband and related services available locally - for example, when moving house, at the end of an existing contract or even when they're just unhappy with their current service or having trouble finding one. They also have a broadband speed test for their postcode that gives a realistic estimated speed, not just the providers’ own advertised “up to” rate. And they've been fully accredited by Ofcom (one of very few telecom comparison sites in the UK that are) - so all their information has to fit the four Ofcom criteria of being transparent, comprehensive, up-to-date and accessible - standards that they're regularly checked against. They simply enable people to make an informed choice by showing them exactly what is available at any given time - alongside a comprehensive set of tools that enable users to sort packages by such often overlooked factors as the true monthly cost and any up front fees.
