The building contains 15 rentable offices, ranging in size between 8.3 square metres to 34 square metres, totalling 274 square metres, together with a public services facility, a seminar/meeting room of 34 square metres, and a further 60 square metres to be developed.
The Centre also offers public services (internet, fax, photocopying, laminating and binding) to the community and businesses of Eckington. Basic computer training courses, teaching computing skills on a one to one basis, are also available to people in the community. Business support services will be provided by Business Link, which will strengthen local partnerships and create a facility useful to the whole of North East Derbyshire.

- Dedicated computer for public access to the internet
Funding Support
The build cost of the extension that was build on to the Business Centre in 2006 is close to £600,000 and the overall project costs are around £830,000. This amount is all new money for Eckington and has been achieved from a variety of sources. The two main contributors are the Alliance Sub-Regional Strategic Partnership (SSP) and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust. There has been substantial contributions from North East Derbyshire District Council in capital funding, leasing and invaluable advice and support, together with considerable input from Barclays Bank, the original owners of the Business Centre. The Business Centre is managed by Eckington Development Company, an independant charity.
