Do business with the Council
We currently spend around £20 million a year on a wide range of services, works and goods.
Along with other local authorities in Derbyshire, we use Source Derbyshire to advertise contracts and tenders to businesses both locally, regionally and nationally.
We also advertise specific tenders and contracts through the Derbyshire Partnership Portal, which allows businesses to view current projects, contracts and quotations, and request further information on particular projects or quotes.
Freedom of Information
We have a duty under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to respond to requests for information. This may require disclosure of information that is part of a tender/contracting process and we are mindful of the potential commercial risks to our suppliers in the disclosure of information. To find out about how the Freedom of Information Act may affect the contracting and/or tendering process, we have produced a guide which can be downloaded from the foot of this page.
For further information about our procurement policies, or to find out about becoming a supplier to North East Derbyshire District Council please complete the enquiry form below, or contact John Hall, the Procurement Manager (contact details at the foot of this page).
