Benefits for carers
If you care for someone who is in receipt of Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance at the middle or highest rate for personal care, you may be able to claim Carer's Allowance.
Who qualifies?
You must:
- be providing care for at least 35 hours per week
- not earning more than £100 per week (after deductions)
- not be in full time education
- Aged 16 and over
