New Emergency Card for Carers
Derbyshire County Council are promoting an emergency card scheme, so that in an emergency, arrangements can be made to give support to the person you care for.
How?
- Complete a Record of Carer's Details obtained from Derbyshire County Council (contact details below)
- All your details and the person you care for, are stored on a database
- You will be issued with a unique reference number
- In an emergency whoever is assisting you can access a 24hr telephone service, who will get in touch with your emergency contacts and ensure arrangements are made for the person you care for
