CHART Local Strategic Partnership successfully ran an £11million Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) Scheme combining funding from Round 1 and Round 4, which ended on 31st March 2005. These projects primarily focused on improving the local jobs, skills and business infrastructure, and included such flagship projects as Tapton Innovation Centre, Coney Green Business Park, Holmewood Enterprise Zone and the Intermediate Labour market (ILM) Project, which successfully placed 288 people into full-time employment or education.

In June 2004 the LSP appointed consultants to undertake an evaluation of the Scheme and this was completed in November 2004. The findings were very positive, and recommended that CHART continue to operate in partnership, and wherever possible seek external funding to manage for local benefit.
