Rural Community Partnership
Our Vision
To make Rural Partnership a healthy, safe and accessible community with an enviable quality of life by working with the community and in partnership with all agencies involved.
Purpose
Community Partnerships are a way for you to influence the decisions that affect the places where you live and the public services available to you.
About us
The Rural Community Partnership was established from the former Neighbourhood Partnership and covers the Parish Council areas of Ashover, Barlow, Brackenfield, Brampton, Holymoorside and Walton, Holmesfield, Stretton, Unstone and finally Wessington.
An important member of the Rural Partnership is the Derbyshire Rural Community Council (DRCC), who are keen to work with the Partnership in these sometimes neglected areas of the district in order to achieve the aims identified by the members.
Your Local Safer Neighbourhood Team
Community Partnership meetings are held jointly with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team (Derbyshire Police). They will be there to give an update on what’s happening in your area to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. They will also try to answer any questions you may have. For copies of these reports see our Partnership Library page.
