Our Vision
To make Wingerworth an economically successful, healthy, safe and accessible community, with an inclusive community and an enviable quality of life within North East Derbyshire, working with the community and in partnership with all agencies involved.
Purpose
Community Partnerships are a way for you to influence the decisions that affect the places where you live and the public services available to you.
About us
The partnership was established in March 2008, with the support of Wingerworth Parish Council and has an Action Plan to work towards achieving local action.
Your Local Safer Neighbourhood Team
Community Partnership meetings are held jointly with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team (Derbyshire Police). They will be there to give an update on what’s happening in your area to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. They will also try to answer any questions you may have. Top Priorities
The partnership has identified the following issues as their top priorities:
- Health provision
- Roads and Traffic congestion
- Crime and anti-social behaviour
- Activities for teenagers and young people
- Affordable Housing
