The Equality Duty
The Equality Act 2010 merged several pieces of equality legislation including one. This included legislation such as the Race Relations Act, Sex Discrimination Act and the Disability Discrimination Act.
The Act places a duty on all public authority to publish data to show how they are in compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
