Asset Management Plan and Capital Strategy
The Council owns a wide range of property and land, including office accommodation, depots, commercial and business premises and around 8,4000 council homes.
A new Asset Management Strategy was developed and approved in August 2006 and contains the strategic framework within which the Council will manage its assets over the next three years.

For the purpose of this strategy, ‘assets’ are defined as the Council’s property and land excluding ‘social’ housing. The latter will be managed through the ALMO, Rykneld Homes, in line with the Council’s strategic requirements. (33.4 KB)
