Notice of Proposal
Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007
Pursuant to Section 64 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (the Act) North East Derbyshire District Council has approved a proposal for a new form of executive at a special meeting of the Council held on 18 October 2010.
The Act permits two forms of executive, the proposal to Council was that the Leader and Cabinet executive (England) form is adopted.
This model delegates executive decision making to the Leader who may appoint between two and nine Councillors to the Cabinet.
