My name is Graham Baxter, I am a Councillor representing Dronfield North Ward and am the leader of North East Derbyshire District Council.
I was elected in 1983 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I am married with two sons. I have been your District and Town Councillor since 1983.
In 1995 I had the honour of being the Mayor of the first Labour controlled Dronfield Town Council
Since July 2004 I have been the Leader of North East Derbyshire District Council ensuring that matters concerning Dronfield are kept at the forefront of Council business
I represent the District and Town council on a number of outside bodies including Derbyshire Sports, Thomas Taylor Charities and Dronfield Station Action Group.
I am one of the six Labour Leaders in the country sitting on the District Leaders Sounding Board advising the Local Government Association on Policy matters.
A lifetime member of the Trade Union Amicus, I am a Trustee of the Dronfield Contact Trades and Labour Club.
