Welcome to my web page
My name is Jennifer Booth and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Eckington North Ward.
I was elected in 2007 and I am an independent elected member.
I hope you find the information you need on my web page, but if not please contact me - my details are at the bottom of the page.
A bit about me...
I am a 59 year old mother of 2 with 2 grandchildren. I was born in Eckington Parish where I still live.
My interests these days seem to be mainly central to my role of councillor, not sure this is a good thing in terms of life balance & maybe I should take up paragliding or scuba diving to even up the old feng shui element.
I am a member of Derbyshire County Council Rights of Way Access Group and the Campaign to Protect Rural England (C P R E ). I care deeply about our glorious Derbyshire landscape.
I believe all of life's experiences are an education & my years as a community care worker gave me an invaluable insight into the needs of the elderly, something I remain very aware of in my current role as a councillor.

How Can I Help?
My aim as a local councillor is to serve the residents of Eckington and North East Derbyshire as a whole, but I can only do that if you let me know how I can help you.
You can contact me at home using the details below or complete the enquiry form to get in touch online.
