Welcome to my web page
My name is Richard Bull and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Dronfield South Ward.
I was elected in 2007 and represent the Liberal Democrat Party.
I hope you find the information you need on my web page, but if not please contact me - my details are at the bottom of the page.
A bit about me...
I've been your Town and District councillor for the Dronfield South ward since May 2007.
I serve on the Town Twinning, Henry Fanshawe Governors, Youth Council and Recycling committees for Dronfield Town Council.
I have lived in Dronfield for 37 years, attending the old Gosforth school before Henry Fanshawe and then onto the University of Leeds.
I am a GP in Dronfield, working in practice 4 days a week and also running drug clinics for heroin addicts in Chesterfield on Mondays.
I'm married to Karen and have 2 boys Michael & Samuel. Karen is a school governor in the Dronfield Junior School, where she also does voluntary teacher support work and is also Vice-Chair of Henry Fanshawe Governors.
Michael is at the University of Birmingham studying Physics and Space research, whilst Samuel is currently studying A-levels at Henry Fanshawe School.
What else? My interests include running & cycling, films, good food & wine. All I have time for is running & study!
I'm also a Christian and elder of my local church in Dronfield. I have pioneered Primary Health Care training in African villages over the past 12 years, with projects in South Africa, Mozambique and Zambia. Finally, I am chair of Glenvale Developments, a local property development business.
