My name is Geoff Butler and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing North Wingfield Central Ward.
I was elected in 1988 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I was born and bred in North Wingfield and have been married to my wife since 1963.
Before retiring, I worked as an electrical engineer for forty years.
I have been a member of the Cabinet since 1991 . My Cabinet portfolio covers responsibility for Building an Excellent Council. I have played a leading role in getting resources for a new Community Centre, Skatepark and MUGA in North Wingfield.
I am a School Governor (Vice Chair) at North Wingfield Infant and Primary School and have been a Parish Councillor since 1984.
My hobbies include Heraldry and Walking.
