My name is Councillor Kevin Gillott and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing North Wingfield Ward.
I was elected in 2011 and represent the Labour Party.

I have been a resident of North Wingfield for the last 14 years, having previously lived in Tupton and I work in Chesterfield as a solicitor. As well as being a member of NEDDC I am also the Derbyshire Council Councillor for North Wingfield and Tupton, a position I have held since 1997 and I am the Labour Party spokesperson on young people's issues.
I have been a governor at Tupton Hall School since 2006 and I chair the Governor's Curriculum Committee where we are committed to improving educational standards at the school. I am involved with a number of groups and clubs in the village and I am always interested in helping new organisations.
As your Councillor I am here to do my best for my community and so if you need my help please contact me. I am also keen to listen to ideas for improving our village or the services provided by NEDDC and if you would like to talk to me please do not hesitate to give me a ring.
