A bit about me...
I was born on November 18th 1944 in Leeds and have lived and worked in London, Glasgow, Manchester and North East Derbyshire.
Most of my working life has been as a full time trade union official ending up as a National Officer for USDAW. As a National officer I represented members throughout the UK and Europe where my main interest was low pay.
I am a lay member on Employment Tribunals and on the management committee of Chesterfield Law Centre where I act as company secretary.
My interests are road safety, involving young people in politics and helping people solve problems at work.
Council Groups and Committees
I am a member of the following:

Licensing Committee
Audit and Corporate Governance Scrutiny Committee
I am also Chair of the Healthy Communities and Well Being Scrutiny Committee
How Can I Help?
My aim as a local councillor is to serve the residents of Ridgeway & Marsh Lane and North East Derbyshire as a whole, but I can only do that if you let me know how I can help you.
