My name is Betty Hill and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Grassmoor Ward.
I was elected in 1995 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I have served on the Council since 1995, I became a member of the executive in 2000 (now called the Cabinet) and am currently the Deputy Leader of the Council.
I am the Chair of Grassmoor Parish Council and was also a school Governor at Grassmoor primary school for many years. I was at the forefront of getting £958,000 funding to refurbish Grassmoor Community Centre.

I am also Cabinet Member with Portfolio for Housing and Social Inclusion (including adaptations, affordable housing and decent homes).
