My name is Patrick Kerry and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Sutton Ward.
I was elected in 1991 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I am generally know as Pat and I am married with 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
I have lived in Calow since 1963 and I am 1 of 2 councillors elected for Sutton Ward. Sutton Ward consists of Calow, Calow Green, Arkwright, Sutton Scarsdale and part of Duckmanton (Chesterfield Road to Robertson Avenue and Cherry Tree Drive). I have been a member of Calow Parish Council for over 40 years.
Before retiring, I worked in education. I taught at Stonebroom school for 17 years, Frank Merrifield School (a school for pupils with physical & emotional difficulties) for 12 years and finally in the special needs department at Chesterfield College.
I have served as Vice Chair of Health and Housing, Technical and Leisure and later Finance. I became Chair of Finance, the executive member for Finance. I am now Cabinet Member for Economy, Finance and Regeneration.

My aim as a local councillor is to serve the residents of Sutton and North East Derbyshire as a whole, but I can only do that if you let me know how I can help you.

Alternatively, if you want to speak to me in person, I shall be holding the following surgeries:
I hold surgeries with our local MP and County Councillor twice a year.
For public questions, I attend Arkwright Parish Council on the 1st Monday in the month and Calow Parish Council on the 3rd Monday in the month.
