My name is Ken Savidge and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Clay Cross North Ward.
I was elected in 1995 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I have been a Councillor at North East Derbyshire District Council since 1995 and have been Chairman of the Council twice.
I am a representative for North East Derbyshire District Council to the Local Government East Midlands on a number of panels, the East Midlands Regional Assembly and the National Local Government Association.
I was Vice-Chair for Holmgate School Governors for a number of years and am currently Secretary/Treasurer of the Holmgate Darby & Joan Club as well as a Trustee.
Prior to early retirement I worked in a supervisory position at British Coal.
I have been interested in computers since 1992, going to Chesterfield College and Clowne Tertiary College, achieving several City & Guilds Certificates.
I have been interested for photography for many years, entering competitions, wedding photography and wildlife, etc.
I am a member of the local shooting club and am also interested in music.
