My name is Christine Smith and I am a North East Derbyshire District Councillor representing Dronfield North Ward.
I was elected in 1987 and represent the Labour Party.

A bit about me...
I have lived in Dronfield for over 30 years, served on the town council for over 25 years and I was Mayor in 1996.
I have been on the District Council for over 25 years and have been Chair & Vice-Chair of committees on Housing, Personnel and Scrutiny matters.
I work with disabled adults for Derbyshire County Council Social Services, I am on the committee for Dronfield Charity boards and am school governor at both Dronfield Henry Fanshawe and Northfield Juniors.
My hobbies are skiing and gardening.

I am also the Vice Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance Scrutiny Committee.
