The date for the dedication service has been set for 2pm on Sunday 24th October 2010. Everyone is invited to come along and join in. We shall be accompanied by the Shirland Brass Band, with refreshments available afterwards in St. Albans.

Local History
Are you interested in your local history? Would you like to find out more? Have you ever wondered what the area was like during your parents/grandparents time?
Do you have memories of times past in our village? Would you like to share and record them for future generations? We are in danger of losing our past. We must save and record our history for our future generations.
I intend to set up a local history group with the support of the parish during the next few months. History is my passion and I know there are many people out there just as passionate as myself.
