7.9 Director of Housing (Rykneld Homes and Strategic Housing)
(a) General
The officer is authorised by the Council to discharge the following functions and determine directly or in consultation with the Chief Executive and appropriate Cabinet Portfolio Member all matters except those reserved by or referred to the Council Meeting, the Cabinet or Committees.
(b) Service functions
(i) All activities in relation to the discharge of the Council’s strategic function as local housing authority (including affordable housing provision)
(ii) People with disabilities(iii) to undertake the client function in connection with housing management via Rykneld Homes Limited
