2 Minutes of Last Meeting
To approve as a correct record and the Chair to sign the Minutes of the
Overview & Scrutiny Board held on 16 October 2008.
3 High Level Objectives
To receive a PowerPoint presentation from the Acting Chief Executive and
the Directors updating the Board on the high level objectives for the
2009/10 Municipal Year.
4 Chair’s Update Including Reviews
To consider a brief oral report from each of the four Scrutiny Committee
Chairs updating the Board on the work of their Committee.
5 Equality in Employment
To consider the Action Plan produced as a result of the Performance Clinic
on Equality in Employment by the Human Resources Manager.
6 The Forward Plan
To consider the Current Forward Plan – 1 December 2008 to
31 March 2009. Issue 88.
7 Enabling More Citizen Involvement in Overview & Scrutiny
To consider the Report of Councillor Frank Taylor and the Principal
Overview & Scrutiny Advisor on enabling more citizen involvement in
Overview & Scrutiny.
8 Alcohol and Young People
To receive an update of any amendments made to the joint report of
Chesterfield Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council, Bolsover
District Council and North East Derbyshire District Council following the
meeting on 5 November 2008.
9 Additional Urgent Items (if any)
To consider any other matter which the Chair of the meeting is of the
opinion should be considered as a matter of urgency.

11 December 2008 at 2.00 pm in Committee Room 1, Council House,
Saltergate, Chesterfield.
