Environmental Health - Domestic and Industrial Team
The Domestic and Industrial section of the Environmental Health Division is responsible for:
- Air Quality Monitoring
- Pollution Control & Contaminated Land
- Abandoned Vehicles
- Fly Tipping
- Noise Nuisances
- Housing Disrepair
- Disabled Facility Grants (DFG's)
- Water Sampling (spring and bore holes)
- Defective Sewers & Drainage Problems
The Dog Control and Pest Control services are also part of the D & I section.
The Private Sector Housing team deals with living conditions in and around private houses and mobile home sites.
The Pollution Team deal with pollution, contaminated land, noise and fly tipping complaints.
NetRegs
NetRegs provides guidance to environmental legislation to unregulated small to medium sized businesses throughout the UK. The company is a government funded partnership between the Environment Agency in England and Wales. Over 4 million small to medium sized businesses have benefited from learning how to save money on consultancy fees an avoid possible prosecution by complying with environmental legislation.
