Intruder Alarms
Prevention is always a good thing and an intruder alarm will help to deter someone from breaking in to your property.
However, if you have an intruder alarm installed on your property and the alarm is allowed to ring unnecessarily, formal action may be taken against you for Noise Nuisance. This could include us serving a notice to stop the nuisance or even enter your property to deactivate the alarm and recover the costs from you.
You must notify us and the police within 48 hours of an alarm being installed with the names and addresses of at least 2 key holders in case the alarm goes off while you are away.
The Audible Intruder Alarm Notification form can be downloaded by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page, or we can send you a form through the post.
If you have any query or would like to talk to us about a problem with an Intruder Alarm please contact our Clean and Green hotline (details below) or use our online form.
