This page has been created to provide you with recent and up to date news worthy items and to pass on important information from within the Sustainable Development Directorate.
This information includes news from the various sections within Environmental Health and Outside Services and include links to pages with more in depth information. The page also contains news on important items such as food hazard warnings.
Why do Sustainable Development need their own news page?
There are so many projects and initiatives being run by the department, such as the recent Playspace consultations from our Grounds Maintenance team and the annual Safety Crew event co-organised by our Health and Environment team and Chesterfield Borough Council among others, not everything can be put on the North East Derbyshire District Council news page or on it's own webpage due to space restrictions.
So if you require bite sized news information on what's going on, this will be the place to find it! And if you require more in depth information, just follow the link in the news item.
