We have been working with Bolsover District Council and Chesterfield Borough Council over a number of areas to establish which services could best be delivered collaboratively. One of the services it decided to take an early look at was Building Control. The decision was taken recently by all three Councils to form a new unit to deliver Building Control across all three Districts. This unit has now been established and is working under the new name of BCN Consultancy - Building Control.
The new unit is now permanently based at Unit 2 Millennium Way, Dunston Technology Park, Chesterfield . Please refer all correspondence and applications to the new unit. Any correspondence and applications received at the Council and through our Contact Centres, will be forwarded on.

It would be appreciated if you could bear with us during this period of transition. The new management team will be looking at improving contact arrangements in due course, including the provision of face to face appointment sessions.
