COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AND NEW RIGHTS IN CLAY CROSS
Notice is hereby given that the North East Derbyshire District Council has made the North East Derbyshire District Council Compulsory Purchase Order 2008 under section of 226 (1) (a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise North East Derbyshire District Council to purchase compulsorily the land and the new rights described below for the purpose of facilitating the carrying out of the development of retail shopping and associated parking, a petrol filling station, a bus station, housing, public house/restaurant, doctors surgery, a new highway and road improvements.
A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at North East Derbyshire District Councils’ offices at Saltergate, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 1LF.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to Secretary of State, Government Office for the East Midlands, The Belgrave Centre, Stanley Place, Talbot Street, Nottingham, NG1 5GG before 4 February 2008 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
