Local Development Framework
The Local Development Framework (LDF) is a set of key development documents that sets out how a local area may change over the next few years. Community involvement is key to the process of developing these plans.
This page is a link to the documents that make up North East Derbyshire's Local Development Framework (LDF).
It lists the documents that are currently in production or the ones we have adopted under the 2004 Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act. To read more about each document, simply click on the links shown below.

Core Strategy
The Core Strategy will set out the vision, objectives and spatial development framework for the area.
Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme sets out the planning policy documents we will produce over the coming years. It contains a profile of each document and a timetable for their production. The current LDS covers the period 2007 to 2010 and came into effect on 17th April 2007.
Annual Monitoring Report
The Annual Monitoring Report is published in December each year and monitors the effectiveness of the planning policies and proposals.
Statement of Community Involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement sets out our approach to public participation or consultation in the planning processes.
Supplementary Planning Documents
Supplementary Planning Documents provide further planning policy guidance in relation to specific issues or areas.
