Speaking at Planning Committees

As part of our commitment to enabling public involvement in the planning process, the council provides the opportunity for people to speak Planning Committee.

If you have made a comment on a planning application, and this same application is to be considered at a planning committee meeting, you will be invited to attend and speak at the planning committee.

You should tell us as early as possible and in any case not later than 10 a.m. on the Friday before the Committee meeting at which the application is on the agenda.

Where and when are Planning Committee meetings held ?

Planning Committees are normally held every four weeks on a Tuesday commencing at 2 pm, in the Council Chamber, Council House, Saltergate, Chesterfield.
