Stonegravels Household Waste Recycling Centre is provided by Derbyshire County Council.  It is located 1/2 mile north of the Chesterfield town centre on the B6057 Sheffield Road (see map right). Find out what you can take and what you can't take on Derbyshire County Council's website.

Asbestos

 
We often receive requests for the tipping of asbestos based materials, arising from garage roofs and guttering, which is classified as construction waste and requires removal by specialist contractors. Further information regarding the disposal of asbestos and other detailed enquiries can be made:

Opening Times

 
The Stonegravels site is open daily, including weekends, from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm with the exception of 25th and 26th December and 1st January.

Please Note: Residents in the east of district may find it easier to travel to the Bolsover Household Waste Recycling Centre and residents in the very south of the District may find it easier to travel to the Loscoe Household Waste Recycling Centre.
