Advice on Housing and Homelessness
The way we help people who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, has changed.
We’re working closely with our partner, Rykneld Homes, to help people stay in their homes or find housing if they need it.
Rykneld Homes will now be helping people most urgently in need of accommodation, while we continue to help advise and support people about housing options in general.
If you are homeless now, or are threatened with being made homeless within the next 28 days please contact Rykneld Homes for advice as soon as possible.
Housing Advice
If you need advice on staying in your home (for example if you are having financial or relationship problems) or are 16/17 and trying to find accommodation, our Housing Options team may be able to help you.
They may also be able to help with problems such as harassment and illegal eviction or domestic violence and can put you in touch with other agencies that offer support and advice.
Council Properties
If you rent a council property and are having difficulties paying your rent, please contact Rykneld Homes and ask to speak to a Customer Finance Champion who will try to help you.
