Joint Housing Market Area Housing Strategy
The North Derbyshire and Bassetlaw Housing Market Area (ND&B HMA) is Sub Regional partnership working consisting of four Local Authorities; North East Derbyshire District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council, Bassetlaw District Council and Bolsover Distict Council.
Since being identified as a Housing Market Area (HMA), the four authorities have strengthened their partnership working, commissioning four joint housing needs studies and a joint housing strategy for the HMA, establishing a governance structure to deliver their work and attracting joint funding from regional bodies. With the introduction of the Homes and Communities Agency’s Single Conversation, the partnership working is only set to continue and strengthen further as this process moves forward.
