Renting an allotment can be a great way to grow your own organic produce, enjoy the open air and get regular exercise. There are many allotments throughout North East Derbyshire; some are administered by the local Parish Council, others are privately owned.

Contact the Estates and Valuations team using the details on the right if you have a query about an allotment.

The District benefits from a wealth of cycling opportunities. Within the area there are two purpose built trails - the Five Pits Trail and the southern spur of the Trans Pennine Trail providing over 20 miles of traffic free cycling.

North East Derbyshire also benefits from a network of bridleways and minor country lanes.
