Renting an allotment can be a great way to grow your own organic produce, enjoy the open air and get regular exercise. There are many allotments throughout North East Derbyshire; some are administered by the local Parish Council, others are privately owned.

The District benefits from a wealth of cycling opportunities. Within the area there are two purpose built trails - the Five Pits Trail and the southern spur of the Trans Pennine Trail providing over 20 miles of traffic free cycling.
Rother Valley Country Park has cycle routes and cycles to suit all ages are available for hire.
North East Derbyshire also benefits from a network of bridleways and minor country lanes.

We also have the fantastic Extreme Wheels Rodashows this summer, perfect for the adrenalin junkies. This is for ages 7+ (under 9's must be supervised by a parent or guardian).
