Activities for Young People at Dronfield Sports Centre
If you're a teenager, we've got loads for you to do at Dronfield Sports Centre:
It's a great way to hang out with your mates from school, you might even make some new ones!
Just doing a bit more exercise each week will make you feel fitter and healthier whilst boosting your mood, confidence and concentration in the class room!

Fitness Suite/Junior GYMZ (11 to 15)
- 60 station fitness suite which includes the latest resistance units and cardiovascular cycles, steppers, treadmills, cross-trainers and rowers.
- Satellite and terrestrial TV showing a variety music, sport and daytime TV shows to keep you entertained whilst you exercise.
- whilst in the fitness studio you must always be accompanied by either an instructor or an adult Just do More! member for your safety.
We also provide qualified instructions and FREE fitness programmes which you can request to help you improve your fitness.
Swimming
At our sports centre there are two pools that are open seven days a week and cater for a wide range of activities. For more information go to swimming at Dronfield.
ZumbAtomic
WEDNESDAY 4.30 to 5.30pm
Shake and swing your hips to the Latin American Zumba music and get hooked! Dance To the quick rhythm and learn how to Zumba!
For 9 to 15yr olds
Price: £3.50 for No Strings customers or included in your package for Just Do More Unlimited Plus members

Badminton
- Available throughout the week

- 40minutes per session.

Equipment hire
Rackets are available to hire but we do ask for a small refundable deposit. Squash balls and shuttlecocks are also available to buy at the centre.
Table Tennis
- Available to hire out throughout the week.
- Costs between £2.00 (Off Peak) and £3.60 (Peak) for a 60 minute session. (Price includes table, paddle and ball hire for up to 4 people).

Slam Dunk Basketball Academy
These sessions are suitable for all abilities, as long as you want to play you can! The Sessions will run and supervised in partnership with the ARROWS Basketball Club. There will be two sessions each evening:
- 6pm to 7pm Under 14s
- 7pm to 8pm Under 16s
Five-A-Side-Football
The main sports hall is available for five-a-side football throughout the week and can be booked at reception up to 7 days in advance. Why not gather your mates and make a group booking!
Netball
The main sports hall is available for Netball throughout the week and can be booked at reception up to 7 days in advance. Why not gather your mates and make a group booking!
Junior Trampolining
Our trampoline lessons are coached by highly qualified British Gymnastics Trampoline Coaches linked to Abbey Flyers Trampoline Club.
11+ Years - 6pm to 7pm (Book Now)

Gymnastics
Gymnastic courses at Dronfield Sports Centre cover the four main gymnastics disciplines:

All courses are delivered by qualified British Gymnastics instructors

Sportivate Fitness
For Ages 14 to 25 Years
Our New Sportivate Fitness Session is a Circuit Training and Gym based activity programme that has been tailor mage for you!! The Instructor-led workout is designed for young people to help boost Fitness and Strength
Starts Thursday 10th May for 6 weeks 4.30pm to 5.30pm for £2.00 per Session
