Swimming At Eckington Pool

Eckington has two Pools:
a) 6-lane main Swimming Pool, 25m x 12.5m; Water depth 1m-3m
b) A small Teaching Pool 12.5m x 7.3m; Water depth 0.6m-0.75m with access step running the full width of one end.
Both pools are open 7 days a week and cater for a wide range of activities including casual swimming, school swimming, women only sessions, adults only, lane swimming, aquacise and aquafun. The small pool is used extensively for swimming instruction at various levels. Additional classes take place in the main pool in the evening using one or more lane(s) on several days.
