Photographic Equipment Policy
Photographic Equipment Policy
To use image recording equipment (cameras, mobile phones, video and digital imaging equipment) in a leisure facility, safeguards need to be in place. This is especially important where children are the subjects.
In the past image recording equipment has been allowed into leisure facilities for the recording of private birthday parties and sport events. With advances in technology, image recording equipment presents the opportunity for misuse, which can lead to child protection issues.
North-East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) requires that any recording of images in the leisure centre must be authorised by the On Site Duty Officer.
