Terms and Conditions of Just do More! Unlimited Membership
1 MEMBERSHIP
1.1 Your membership will begin on the day you join.
1.2 Your membership will continue for an initial period (details below) months, during which you cannot cancel your membership
1.3 After the initial period you may cancel your membership at any time by giving one month's written notice to the specific Centre Manager. The date of cancellation will be the date on which this period of notice ends.
1.4 Your membership is personal to you. You cannot transfer it to another person.
1.5 Your membership category is Committed or Non-Committed or Annual
2 FEES
2.1 You must also pay a monthly membership (details below). Monthly instalments will be due on the 1st day of each calendar month. You must pay this fee, or part of it, for the month in which you join, on the day you join.
2.2 We may change the amount of your monthly subscriptions. If we do, we will write to you at the address you have given us and display details of the change on the Centre Notice Board 2 Months before the changes take place.
2.3 You may choose to pay all your monthly membership fees in one annual lump sum on the day you join. If you choose to do this you cannot cancel in the first 2 months. We will deduct 3 months membership (the initial 2 months and 1 months notice) and the joining fee referred to in
2.4 Monthly fees are payable even if you do not use the centre.
3 FACILITIES
3.1 You are entitled to use the facilities available to your category of membership (as shown in the centre rules)
3.2 You may have to pay additional charges to use certain facilities at the centre. You can get a list of these charges from the Centre Reception. We can change these charges at any time.
4 OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
4.1 We shall compensate you or your estate, in respect of:-
4.1.1 any uninsured loss or damage to your personal property: or
4.1.2 your death, or any personal injury suffered by you to the extent that the same is caused directly by:-
(a) our negligence; or
(b) our breach of this Agreement or any implied by law, except where such a breach is caused by you or an event outside our reasonable control.
4.2 Subject to clause 4.1 above all liability to you is excluded.
4.3 You must not leave personal property unattended at the centre, unless it is locked in one of the lockers provided in the changing rooms.
4.4 For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be liable for any personal property which is stolen from a locker, save as provided above.
5 FREEZING MEMBERSHIP
5.1 In exceptional circumstances, you can ask us to freeze your membership. However, whether we agree will be our decision. You should apply, in writing, to the Centre Manager.
6 CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
6.1 We can cancel your membership immediately if:-
6.1.1 you commit a serious or repeated breach of this agreement or the centre rules and, if that breach is capable of being remedied and is not remedied within 7 days;
6.1.2 in our reasonable opinion your behaviour is likely to endanger other members, their guests or staff, or adversely affect the centre or our reputation;
6.1.3 if any amounts you owe us remain unpaid 30 days after the due date; or
6.1.4 if you provide us details you know to be false when applying for membership and those details reasonably affect our decision to grant you membership.
6.2 If we cancel your membership we will not refund your administration fee or membership fees
6.3 We can prevent you entering the centre if we have cancelled or agree to suspend your membership.
7 CENTRE RULES
7.1 You must comply with Centre rules, which form part of this agreement.
7.2 We may change the Centre Rules at any time. We will post notice of any change on the Centre Notice boards.
THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A FULL ACCOUNT OF THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT. YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL COPY, WHICH WILL BE EXPLAINED TO YOU, WHEN YOU JOIN THE SCHEME.
Membership Terms:
Committed Membership: you are committed to a three month period of membership, therefore you may give the one month's required notice at any time after the first two months. Membership costs £30 per month and payment is by direct debit.
Non-committed Membership: works on a month-by-month basis. You may cancel at any time after the first month by giving one month's notice. Membership costs £40 per month and payment is by direct debit.
