WE had a good turn out at Wingerworth with 24 walkers. New people joining all the time. If you are not already a walker and would like to meet new freinds and enjoy the counrtyside then may I suggest that you join 1 of your local walking groups. They is only so much daytime TV that you can watch.See you soon

The walks are very enjoyable, well organised and everyone is friendly. An ideal way of exercising and enjoying the local countryside

We plan to set up more weekend walks over the coming weeks and months. Currently we have one woodland weekend walk on a Saturday at Eckington. Also with the current time of year it is difficult to do late aftrenoon early evening walks. But once again we hope to set up these walks around April once the evenings are ligther. Hope this info helps but please contact me to discuss further if you wish

This is a great way to get fit and healthy, whilst also enjoying the great outdoors and exploring the areas in which we live. It''s also a great opportunity to meet lots of really nice people and make new friends. The walks are really well organised, very friendly, lively and cheery. I already feel the benefits and have now joined three other walking groups in the area. I would highly recommend it. It has certainly changed my life for the better.

A a member of Sharley Park stollers who have now been going since Oct its been a good way to meet new people and get out of the house on a Monday which normally would not happen.Looking forward to the new Wednesday walks that start in March

What a shame that almost all of your walks are during the working week, they appear to be aimed at the older generation. Do you have any plans for more weekend walking groups or evening walks as the nights get lighter?
