Car Park Closure Requests
If you are organising an event - such as a street party, gala or fete - you can apply for a temporary closure of part, or all, of any of our public car parks to hold your event.
The charges are as follows:
· £150 for full car park closure,
· £100 for partial closure (up to 50% of parking spaces)
· £30 for use of multiple bays. (up to 5 bays)
You can download an Application Pack by clicking on the link below. You must give us full details of the event and send us a copy of your public liability insurance.
If you are holding a procession you may need to apply to us for a Temporary Road Closure. You may also need a Temporary Event Notice if you want to sell alcohol, provide certain types of entertainment or serve hot food and drinks after 11pm. If you are planning on fundraising at your event, you might also need to get a Street Collection Licence from us.
