Beat the Street is a fun, free initiative that will see the town of Clay Cross transformed into a giant game! See how far you can walk, cycle and run in just 4 weeks. There are great challenges to enjoy and prizes up for grabs.
Play the game from 7 October - 4 November 2020.
You are allowed to have as many team members as you would like. However, you must have 6 team members by the 28th October to be eligible for a leaderboard prize.
Sensors called Beat Boxes have been placed across Clay Cross. To start playing, hover a Beat the Street card against a Beat Box until it beeps and flashes, then walk or cycle to the next Beat Box within an hour and do it again – you will have scored 10 points. Each additional Box visited earns you another 10 points for you and your team!
Cards and maps are available to collect from Sharley Park Leisure Centre. Remember, cards must be registered online to be able to join your team and be in with a chance to win prizes.
There are two leaderboards for teams – Total Points Scored and Highest Average Points Per Team. The top team on each leaderboard will win prizes
Additionally, each week we will be giving out lots of Lucky Tap prizes to individual players so make sure you keep going.
