A concert by Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Brass Band generated £1750 for the Chairman's Appeal for Ashgate Hospicecare.
North East Derbyshire Chairman, Councillor Martin Thacker, also President of the Band, was proud to present their concert to a packed audience at St. John's Church in Walton.
The varied programme of music included traditional brass band marches to an item from Guns N' Roses scored for brass.
The concert also featured a performance from the Ireland Colliery Junior Band, playing together for the first time.
North East Derbyshire District Council Chairman, Councillor Martin Thacker said: "Tt was great to be at the Band's first concert since lock down and inaugural showcasing of the Junior Band.”
“We were all treated to an amazing programme of music and entertainment. I am grateful to the Church, Band and audience for helping to raise a significant amount for my Appeal."
