Can you help us change the life of children in Derbyshire?

Foster Care Fortnight runs from Monday 9th May – Friday 22nd May. It’s an annual campaign to raise awareness of fostering and encourage people to find out more.

This year’s theme is #FosteringCommunities and it will celebrate the resilience and importance of foster carers over the last few years. We’ll be using this opportunity to raise awareness of fostering and encourage people hearing about it for the first time to find out more and enquire.

We have children waiting for a loving, stable home in Derbyshire, and we’d appreciate your help in raising awareness and encouraging residents to consider becoming a foster carer.

To make it as easy as possible for you to support our campaign, we’ve drafted suggested social media posts, an intranet piece, and a printable poster. If you’d like physical copies of the posters we would be happy to send them to you and if you’d prefer to retweet our content, we’ll be posting most days on the Council Facebook and Twitter accounts.

We’d love your support in helping find homes for children in Derbyshire.
